DroidSpray allows you to spray paint your world. It's like virtual graffiti. Using the camera built into your phone you'll see your artistic musings on top of your surroundings. If placed well, it might even appear to be real graffiti.
The basic element in DroidSpray is the 'wall'. This is the canvas for your spray paint. The walls you create either exist immediately around you wherever you are at the moment. Or you can create walls that exist at a specific GPS location in the world.
Indoor mode will float the walls immediately around you. No matter where you are the wall will follow you.
Outdoor mode allows you to place walls at specific GPS locations and to see other people's walls.
Automatic monitors how accurate the GPS signal is and selects the most appropriate mode. If the signal is not strong then you'll be placed into Indoor mode. This can happen if you're inside a building or something else that obscures the line of sight to orbiting GPS satellites.
In the Settings is Indoor/Outdoor mode. There you can control whether to be Indoor, Outdoor or automatically switch.
It takes time for the accuracy of the GPS built into the phone to narrow in to your location. Please be patient. You can watch how well DroidSpray is finding you by touching the upper right hand corner where either the Home or Satellite graphic is located.
Want to show off your hand-drawn sunset in front of the Eiffel Tower? Just position yourself so that the wall looks perfect... then hold down the camera button! This will take a screenshot of the camera image with all walls in front of it. When you upload it, other people will be able to see that screenshot!
Note that the system will also create a new wall with the screenshot on it so you can see it immediately. You're free to move it to a different location or destroy it immediately if you don't like it.
In order to allow other people to see your walls you need to setup a profile. You'll need to fill in your email address and a password.
Once the profile is registered you should be able to Upload walls.
You can use the D-pad (scroll wheel) to quickly change between colors.
If you have a physical keyboard on your phone, you can press the numbers 1 through 6 to change through available colors.
